Keeping Your Standards On A Career Search

If your career search drags on, it can become very tempting to drop your standards and look for a job beneath your experience. This is tempting, but not too realistic. You may think that you can work there until something better comes along, but employers will assume you intend to do this, and not hire you. While you may think that looking for lower level employment will lead to a faster career search, often it will simply lead to more rejections that you may find confusing.
